LIGHT CONCRETE

It is all concrete that has a volumetric weight in the fresh state, less than 1900 Kgs / M3.
Lightweight concrete can be produced with either natural or synthetic aggregates and the mixture of aggregates such as sands of different granulometries, cement and water.

STYRENCRET, is a material used as an aggregate for the manufacture of lightweight concrete, based on expanded polystyrene beads coated with a STC-STYRENCRET additive whose function is to allow a good adhesion between the polystyrene spheres and the cement paste, as well As a homogeneous distribution obtaining a light concrete, with excellent thermo-acoustic properties.

What resistance does the lightweight concrete have?
Concretes with dry volumetric weights can be obtained from 675 to 1500 Kgs / M3 and compressive strengths ranging from 25 to 175 Kgs / M3.
Applications
• Concrete for steel-deck in multilevel buildings
• Prefabricated elements
• Tilt-up walls
• Prefabricated blocks
• Prefabricated concrete panels
• Parking Structures
Advantage
• Reduction of weight to one fifth of traditional concrete.
• Reduction of the sections of the structural elements as a result of the reduction of the weight of the concrete.
• Excellent thermal and acoustic properties.
• Non-combustible
• Raincoat
• Non-toxic
• Does not transmit vibration
• Excellent impact resistance.
• Is not attacked by rodents, insects or fungi
• You can nail, drill, screw and work with traditional tools.
