FLUID FILLING

Fluid Fill is defined as a "controlled low resistance material", it is a cement that can be used mainly in land leveling work or where compaction is required equal to or better than the required soil.

The concrete for pumping provides very good handling and is especially cohesive, which allows its placement by means of concrete pump.

This type of concrete is used in projects with structures with difficult access and limited spaces, with considerable horizontal and vertical distances or all kinds of structural elements that require speed and efficiency to be melted, taking into account their requirements of access and large volume.

It has a very good resistance to fire, and allows to be cut, drilled, drilled and even nailed with ordinary tools. It has high durability since its contraction is minimal and controlled. The fluid filling has wide use in filling of ditches, pipes, bases and sub - bases of pavements, urban habilitations, mining debris, etc.

Properties

The properties of Fluid fillings are between those corresponding to that of the floors and concretes themselves. It is prepared from materials similar to those used in traditional concrete and is placed with equipment similar to that of the same. However, once in service, it presents the characteristics of the floors.

Fluency
It is the property that distinguishes this material from the other employees for fillings. Allows materials to be self-leveling, flowing and filling voids, and self-compacting without the need for conventional placement and compacting equipment. The settlement in the cone is greater than 200 mm until self-leveling and there is no appreciable segregation.

Advantage
• Compressive strength from 1 to 15 kg / cm2
• No compaction required
• Does not require curing
• Ensures complete filling in strains and cavities
• Excavations can be done in a smaller section
• Does not require qualified personnel for placement
• Savings of time and money in filling and compacting works
• Savings of time and money in the execution of tests of terraces
• Rapid opening to traffic
• Easily excavable
• Can be cut with a saw
